It all started when Brooke was a Sophomore in high school. She needed to take her P.E. credit, but didn’t want to be stuck with the freshman in P.E. so after being convinced by her mom she registered for weight training class. She walked in not knowing a single workout on her program and by the end of the year she received the Advanced Physical Education Student of the year award. After cheering for four years in high school and running her first half marathon her senior year she decided to pursue a Degree in Exercise and Wellness and graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University. After marrying her high school sweetheart, she worked as a personal trainer, group trainer and in corporate fitness until they had their first baby boy in August of 2014. Shortly after having their son Brooke started her health/fitness Instagram account (@carlsonfit) and began virtual personal training from home to keep her passion for fitness alive. While pregnant with her second, Brooke created the Fit Bump Guide a fitness and nutrition program for pregnancy. Brooke is a NASM certified personal trainer and certified TRX instructor. Fitness has played a very important role in her life from building her self-confidence to managing stress and feeling a sense of self accomplishment. Brooke loves spending time with her family, cooking, singing, church, anything outdoors and has run over 10 half marathons and a full marathon. Exercise has been a top priority for Brooke during pregnancy and in her everyday life as a wife, mom, and trainer.
